OUR STORY
PARTNERSHIP
Peace House Foundation began with a simple purpose: to serve the most overlooked members of the Arusha region. Recognizing that children living with disabilities face severe social and economic barriers, our foundation built a localized care system offering safety and dignity. Soon after, we realized that supporting children meant empowering their mothers—leading to our integrated women’s development programs.
To ensure long-term stability, we collaborate with international advocates like Chantal Huijbregts from Stichting Tupendane Nederland. This cross-border partnership infuses strategic funding development into our local operations, maximizing our capacity to build infrastructure, secure medical equipment, and deliver reliable daily support.
OUR COMMITMENT TO TRUST & SAFEGUARDING
Important Note on Transparency: Peace House Foundation operates under a strict Safeguarding Policy and requires formal photo consent forms for all child profiles. We maintain a detailed child register, accurate monthly budget tracking, and an audited receipts log to guarantee that 70% of all public donations directly fund child support, while 30% directly sustains our local care center operations
